Windows update now can't load maps

HELP ME PLEASE!

Last night windows 7 had 10 updates. Yesterday afternoon I was playing fine with 2003 server (service pack 1) compatibility settings and have also had success with 98/ME compatibility. But today after the update neither setting works. Map loads to full status on Bougainville and never let me join and previous map it got stuck at 10%.

Someone please help!!!! :'-(

my windows 7 is home premium i have fully updated no lag no problems its not your updates what bf1942 version you got cd rom or origin or freeware download ?
also do you use a old fh version ?

im old bf1942 player i go far back all the way to 2002
and i also play cnc generals

Some compatibility modes slow down map loading. If the mode is slow and your CPU is also slow, it can take as much as 10 minutes.

But yesterday you said you fixed your game. Would you share here what you did to fix it? Did you use BF1942CF.exe (Compatibility Fix)? Did you install FHSW through the installer (eYe's)?

I would recommend downloading fhsw again as installer mode.

Use 1 of these patch to fix it, works for me all the time.

CD http://team-simple.org/download/bf1942-v1.612-retail-patched.zip with the CD 1 makes sure is fully patch, then use this patch.

The credit goes to team sample community http://team-simple.org/download/

just extract the file take the bf1942 exe and replace it with the other 1 in the directory.
