I vote for Marduk's first list.

And what about Leyte Gulf day 2? People need to download it but it would be an epic battle

For my experience the FHT maps are created for organized capaign battles with TS and so on. I think they are too complicated as a never known welcome map. But maxbe I´m a little biassed, cause I don´t like most FHT maps much dry

I think that this map list was not intended for a "Band of Brothers" event. It was intended for a "Welcome, new players!" (or whatever you want to call it).

unfortunatly so short before Sunday. Wouldn´t it be better to postpone it to next Sunday and make a bit advertise at some places?!

@Robert: Yea, you are kinda right.

We could play some maps of the old circle first and then 2-3 of the mappack.

    What about those:
    1. Road to Ramelle
    2. Stashuv Area
    3. Trois Ponts?

sounds good! I really want to play the new mappack with lots of people, maybee put a notice on the HP that we play at around 9.30pm these 3 maps and we hope that as many as possible people download it. I will make a bit advertise at FHT then.

I feel like we shouldn't confine ourselves to a preset list of just three new maps. Can't we just play whatever new maps the players want?

The players want every map and no map and that at the same time. To try to set maps the players "want" will end in an empty server, believe me. We have to set up the maps, nothing else works. This is my experience from 5 years as an admin.

    @Endless: what about
    1. Kasserine Pass
    2. Battle of Valirisk
    3. Road to Ramelle
    4. Stashuv Area
    5. Troins Ponts?

Unfortunately, you are right Marduk, whenever maps are left up to the community to decide ingame, it always results in arguments and then people leaving.
