If you set it to
Code
Game.spawnPlayers 0

you can still pick a spawn point but you won't spawn

ah. then it has nothing to do with that because its set to 1 :/ hmm im clueless at the moment but I AM NOT GIVING UP THAT EASY! biggrin

resurrecting an old topic here but I was wondering if some skilled individual here could take a look at my map and get it to work?

The problem right now is you can host games on it BUT when more than one players join no one can spawn anymore....

The same problem occurs on the map Berlin Outskirts in FHSW 0.5, I don't know what causes it. sad

I never mapped really, I had more fun looking at coding...

But when I look in your SoldierSpawns.con, I see something like this;

Quote
Object.create unnamedspawn11
Object.absolutePosition 889.098/32.8125/1491.58
Object.rotation -178/0/0
Object.setOSId 112
Object.setTeam 1048577


I think Object.setOSId and Object.setTeam should be another value, compare it for example with other maps.

I found this in the internet (its for Objects, but will do the job):

Object.absolutePosition X/Y/Z <- choose position
Object.rotation X/Y/Z <- choose rotation
Object.setOSId * <- flag-number it belongs to
Object.setTeam 3 <- don't know exactly about that, try 0, 1 or 2

Thanks man! I will take a look in the con and see if it helps smile

This is when I wish I named all my spwans but they are all named "unnamedspawn". Its gonna be a pain in the butt re-installing ED42 again and get it to work. But oh well its gonna be worth it!

EDIT: HAH! First time i got ED42 to work on first attempt! lol
Im gonna edit my maps and maybe on wensday I will be able to test it.

EDIT2: well this fix mentioned in the post above was easy to implement and i know ive got the right values but now if i put my map in the FHSW levels folder it causes FHSW and dedicated server to stop working.... bizarrrr...

EDIT3: Ok so i gave up on the old map all togather and im trying to make a new one from scratch but it seems ED42 can't detect anything from FHSW 0.5 ALL other mods work even regular FH but not FHSW =/

Can anyone help me i know nothing about mapping and i dont know how to use editor 42.
 
Ive been wanting to make a battle of paris map,but i need to know how to make a skydome with the eifel tower in the distance.
