  • fixed a bug which made the Japanese cruiser Agano not spawn, now spawns when Allies take the village flag because the Allied cruiser also only spawns when the Japanese take that flag

    Hm, we were playing Kure on the new server, it worked fine for the whole round if I recall correctly...

    I just remembered we actually did ssm on this map or rather used the one from PrinceUmeboshi, it was the battleship Ise that caused problems.

    Edit: Works again.

    I don't know what exactly is wrong with it, they simply replaced it with the Oyodo.

    We badly need ssm on the map "Battle of Angaur": the carrier has to be removed please. Nearly every time some allied player places the carrier close to the isle so you can not sink it with torpedoes (santa-anna and me tried it the whole round, hit it about 12-15 times and died about 15 times and it was still there at the end of the round) and then the camping begins. It is not fun at all to be axis on the map because it is already tough enough to deal with the shermans. But when the carrier also is shooting at the isle all the time it is just annoying and frustrating. So please remove the carrier and maybe replace it by airspawn for the planes.

    This is a gaming community. People come here to relax. If you start an argument you will get kicked.

    It's possible to remove the engine of the carrier via ssm so it can't be moved.

    About torpedos: You have to know how they work in this mod then you'll be able to sink capital ships extremely fast.

    I was eating during this round so that's why I stayed in the carrier to camp (after someone else brought it there and beached it). I think one way to ensure a hit with torpedoes is to launch them at almost point blank so that they hit around the water line and don't sink deep where they may hit the sea bottom. Mines could have been used effectively, too. The carrier was slowly rotating around the point where it was beached.
