For maps with longer line of sight I would prefer the FW 190. For maps with shorter distance before fog of war began the BF 109.

Something different: I noticed on Midway that it takes forever until the ships respawn, it felt like 10 minutes even for a destroyer. While I agree that the vanilla respawn times are too short, 10 min is a bit too extreme imo on a map with a big emphasis on naval combat. You barely get to use them especially the destroyers are sunk so fast, it's really annoying to have to wait for so long. If one side holds the island and you don't have any ships left, there's very little you can do to change it. My suggestion:

Battleship, Carrier: 5 min
Cruisers, Supply ship: 4 min
Destroyer, Sub: 3 min

I made some changes to Crete, based on the experience from yesterday, should we apply these to the server?

  • Germany gets a total of 8(!) bomber planes, overkill much? I suggest a revert to the FH layout with 3 bombers.
  • Add a Ju 52 air spawn to divert the action and make it easier to get a foothold on the island.

    Sector 318:
    - Added ground BF109 G10/R6 + plane ammo + parachute
    - P47 bomb variant replaced with rocket version

    Falaise Pocket:
    - Added pushcage to southern flag to prevent Allies from backcapping

    Does it include your previous mod that removed birtish fleet?

    Unfortunatly it seems that this SSM patch brings exesivly lagging on the server. I recogniced that it starts as I captured the north farm. Perhaps this info is helpfull ...

    It seems like all of you were right about SSM sad I'm always testing any SSM before uploading them and that's the first time when I meet such kind of trouble which was a result of modding. I'm sorry about that, I couldn't predict what is going to happen. ;(
    So to fix that, I removed axis airplane ammo objects from airstrip. Please join the server in your spare time and give me your feedback if it helped with lags.

    But I don't know what caused the server crash on Reichsbahn, I take a shoot at kicked player's revenge (whose I know, he has a knowledge to do that; kicked for notorious restarting the map)

    Just tested it, works fine with one player at least, I feel relieved that it wasn't an attack!

    I also tested Crete, seems like you also made some changes, alright we can try these. One problem is that the spawn points still appear on the map although the flags are neutral. It's only a display error though because you can't use them.

    Eastern Blitz:
    - Polish Airfield can be captured now as a last flag in push order (it's still visible as uncapturable on the map though). If Germans do NOT own all of the 5 city flags, they may NOT get too close to Polish Airfield, otherwise they'll start to loose health.
    - Removed one of two PZL.37 Łoś

    Thanks Mr J! But Can we not make the Northers area important to? So big field, nothing is there. Only pick up kits, ammo boxes and houses?

    @Fritz: Usually I try to not scatter the action across the map. Planes make use of that area though.

    If it is possible to add control points, could someone put one at the spawn point at B2 on Operation Husky? I want to see fights in the Italian country-side, since there aren't any examples of this in the mod. Thanks smile

    Uhm, did you mean the Battle of Gela?
    It's possible to move existing flags, but adding new ones can't be done. Afaik.

    I decided to do an experiment with vehicle wrecks. So wreck living time was raised from default 10 seconds to 3,5-4min, at the moment on the following maps only:
    - Kharkov Outskirts
    - A day of Zitadelle
    - Prokhorovka
